Whatsapp has become the most commonly used communication software in the whole world and they keep updating it with new features and making it safer and easier to be used.
Whatsapp has recently launched a more secured way to prevent others from viewing your whatsapp messages without worrying to memorize passwords which we mostly forget. Now you can lock your whatsapp with a FACE ID or FINGERPRINT (Touch ID).
This feature is currently only available on iOS but we hope to get it on Android very soon.
Below are the steps to activate this new feature of Whatsapp.
- Launch your Whatsapp Application
- Tap Settings
- Tap Accounts
- Tap Privacy
- Scroll down and tap on Screen Lock
- Select the Lock option that you wish to use to activate it
- After this you will be asked to select the number of minutes you want your Whatsapp to be on before you need to unlock it again (from immediately – 1 hour)

NOTE:
The options available depends on the type of iPhone you are using. The older versions may have only Touch ID (Fingerprint) whiles newer versions may have only Face ID or both Face and Touch ID.
