Ghana’sPopular dancehall artiste, Ebony Reigns, has died in a gruesome road accident that occurred late Thursday evening on the Sunyani-Kumasi road according to Myjoyonline.com
According to the report, Ebony and two military officers were on board a Jeep with registration AS 497—16 from Sunyani heading towards Kumasi when it collided head-on with a VIP bus heading towards Sunyani from Kumasi.
The driver of the VIP bus reportedly survived the accident but he is currently unconscious at the same hospital receiving treatment from doctors.
The body of the Maame Hwԑ hit singer, and the unidentified military personnel were rushed to the Bechem Government Hospital after the accident but died shortly after.
DSP Adusei has confirmed to Joy News that the bodies have been deposited at Mankraso Hospital Morgue in the Ashanti Region.
Known in real life as Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, Ebony was widely known for her hit songs “Poison” and “Kupe”.
She would have turned 21 on February 16.
