There is something I want us to learn.The Bible says in the verse 26 that God created man in his image and after his likeness.
Yes we look like God and we are like Him.
Likeness is defined as that which closely resembles.This tells us that there is a slight difference between God and us.
One of the difference is righteousness but I’m interested in the similarities.
We look like God when it comes to Power and Authority.
We are as powerful as God
God has the ability to create things with words and they instantly happen.The only difference we might have with him when it comes to Power and Authority is instancy.He says it and it happens right away.
THINGS WE HAVE THE ABILITY TO DO
1)We have the ability to create things (command to happen) with our words.Although sometimes it delays before happening.
2)We have authority over everything that lives in the waters,sky and on the land(even sicknesses and evil forces although they were not around during the time of creation but if you have a land and at the time you bought it there was no grasses or herbs on it then later they appear does it mean the grasses and herbs are not yours?They of course are yours so do we have authority over anything that appears on our earth)
3)You also have the ability to bless and make things multiply just as God blessed the things he created and asked them to multiply.You have the ability to make the favor,the blessings, the breakthrough and the healing you commanded to multiply
4)You also have the ability to make someone become like you although there would be a little difference just as there is,between you and God.If you are blessed you can also bless others.
5)God has given you all you need to survive. The fishes,the herbs,the fowls,the creeping creatures,etc.They are what you need to survive and they are all gifts from God.So some of you all you need to survive is the gift of God that you have.Just make use of it whether it is singing,preaching,teaching,prophesying,winning souls or even helping the needy.They are all ministries done with a special gift.
“Now the question is HOW DO I PUT THESE ABILITIES INTO ACTION?”
It’s very simple,BY WORDS.All you need to do is to say it because that’s what God did.Say it and believe it and it shall be done.
