The President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo has on his Twitter page, announced to address the nation on the economy after it’s recent drastic depreciation to the US Dollar at the rate of GHS15:1USD.
The massive depreciation of the Cedi to the US Dollar resulted in the hike of prices of various goods and services across the country, thus the discussion of”Gallon of Frytol” price which has been trending on social media for some days now.
The national address is said to be on October 30, 2022 at 8:00pm GMT on various News Broadcast Channels.
The President ended his tweet with #BouncingBackTogether”.
