Methuselah: 187-969(He was blessed because his father had a close relationship with God).
Lamech: 182-777
Noah: 500 years.
Over here we can see that the number of years these great men lived on earth keep on reducing.
It is at the time of Noah that God decided to destroy the earth with water
This tells us that from the time of Adam man has kept on shifting away from God and increasing in wickedness and disobedience to God.
In the beginning it was in God’s plan that man would have eternal life.
But as soon as man drifted from God by disobeying him death came into existence.
This tells us that when you love the Lord and follow him he blesses both you and your family just as he blessed Enoch and his son Methuselah.
Enoch walked with the Lord so much that he didn’t die but was raptured and his son was so blessed blessed that he is up to this day and I believe the days ahead of the long lived person on earth.
Decide to love the Lord and walk with him and see how your life is going to change and move in an upward direction.
