The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has released another “Dumsor Timetable” effective from Monday, 28th June to Monday, 19th July 2021.
The new “Dumsor Timetable” is scheduled for 22 days between some towns in Accra which has been grouped into 6 namely Group A, B, C, D, E & F.
According to the release, the interruption in power supply will enable the contractors to complete the final major intervention project in Accra. The project will be undertaken by the Electricity Company of Ghana and GRIDCo to improve power supply reliability.
The Managing Director of the Electricity Company of Ghana Kwame Agyeman-Budu in an interview says the improvement works will last for Twenty-two (22) days which is from Monday, 28th June to Monday, July 19th 2021.
He also assured the public that, only those in the schedule will be affected therefore if anyone experiences power outage in his or her communicate, he shouldn’t hesitate to call them because it would probably be a local issue so they can get it fixed.
He also asks the affected communities to bear with them because after this project, the issues of ‘Dumsor’ in the country will be minimized.
